My Personal Statement

   Hello readers, Well, back again to my blog. Today, I will talk about my personal statement. I’m not sure if you are interested with my personal statement. But, I hope my personal statement can help you to have new information if you are confused with dealing something.

   My name is Isabella Agustina. I come from Pekalongan, Central Java. I’m studying at Bina Nusantara University Jakarta in English Department. I’m BINUSIAN 2019. I’m in the 4th semester now. I chose English Department because I like English and it makes me want to know more about English.

   For the first time, I really learnt English when I was at elementary school. I don’t like English before. Because I thought that English is so scary. But, when I try to like it, then I realized that I love English until now. That’s why I chose English Department as my major.

   First, I chose Bina Nusantara University because when I was in Senior high school my senior offered me to register in Bina Nusantara University. To be honest, I never thought that I will register in BINUS because usually, students that’s from my senior high school will and always enter Bina Nusantara University to continue their study after graduated from senior high school. It feels bored for me because I will meet people from the same school again. But, gladly when I register Bina Nusantara University the students that register is not too many as I expected. Well, back from my senior offered me to register in Bina Nusantara University, after I register, I’m a bit afraid after talking with other people, because they said that Bina Nusantara University well known and best in Technology Information. I thought that Bina Nusantara University only has major in Technology Information. But, after I checked the website of Bina Nusantara University I found that Bina Nusantara University has many majors especially English Literature, the one that I want to choose. I got announcement that I accepted in Bina Nusantara University. At first, I don’t know what should I react at that time. Happy? Of course I should be happy at that time. Bina Nusantara University also the one of the best University in Jakarta.

   Since I’m studying English Literature, I learn many things here. I also can get new experiences from English. I still remember when I was at first semester, My pronounciation was so bad. But, after time goes by, I improve my pronounciation and in some words, I can pronounce it correctly. I know that my pronounciation still not enough well. But, atleast I still want to learn and improve more and more.

   Talk about streaming, My streaming in English Department is Teaching. Well, to be honest actually I want to chose Creative Writing as my streaming. But, after I had discussed with my parents, I decided to chose Teaching and Bussiness as my streaming. But, I got Teaching as my streaming then. That’s why my streaming now is Teaching. If you ask me that I’m dissapointed or not about my streaming, I think I will say I don’t know. I just want to try something new. Because if I choose Creative Writing as my streaming, I’m not sure if I will learn something new. Because in my real life, I already became a blogger and as you know, blogger always write and write about anything. I also a bit afraid If I get block writers later when I’m at Creative Writing. If I learn Teaching, I think I can get new knowledge and new experiences. I just can hope that I willn’t dissapointed with my choice.

   Bina Nusantara University has 5 track for any majors. The track are Internship, Study Abroad, Community Development, Entrepreneurship, Research. Well, I’m still confuse about the track that I should choose. Actually, at the first I want to choose Internship but after my father told me that he permitted me to choose Study Abroad as my track, I enthusiasm to choose Study Abroad and I’m searching the information about track of Study Abroad. When I talked to head of English Department, she recommend me to choose Study Abroad when I’m in 7th semester because I’m not ready to prepare for TOEFL and VISA, Passport, etc. Actually I can prepare for that but I feel like afraid if I get low score in TOEFL because I’m not prepare it well.

   About my future prospect, As I already mention before, I hope that I willn’t dissapointed with my choice because I’ve chosen Teaching as my streaming. I also wish that I could be a good teacher later. I want to make all students, especially in Indonesia can learn and like English so much. Because many students says that they hate English. They won’t to learn English because English is difficult or something similar like that. I just hope that I can have a high GPA and graduate on time.

First Love’s Best Cakes Ever

   Hello everyone! Who doesn’t like a cake here? I think everyone likes cake, isn’t it? But, Are you really know where to buy a delicious cakes especially in Semarang? I guess you don’t. Now, I will talk about a new place in Semarang that sell cakes. The name is “First Love Patisserie” that located in Paragon Mall 3rd Floor, Semarang, Central Java. FYI, First Love also famous in Taiwan and Japan too.

   When you first time enter to the cafe, you will welcomed with dreamy decoration. I think that place is suitable for everyone who want to spend  the time in Mall. The place itself is not too big because it located in mall. So, just accept it, okay?.

    For the cakes, They sell mille crepes (layer cake) and some cakes. For the flavours, They have Orginal Vanilla, Chocolate, Green Tea, Strawberry, Oreo, Tiramissu, and so on. I already tasted Oreo Cheese Cake. I like this mille crepes so much because of the taste. The texture of this mille crepes is so smooth and so delicious. The cheese also feels so melt in the mouth. Not only the cheese, They gives many sprinkles oreo for the cake. So, if you are a Oreo Lovers and Cheese Lovers so I really recommend this cake for you.

   For the price, You can buy 1 piece of mille crepes with around Rp. 30.000 or more. You also can buy the full mille crepes with price around Rp 200.000 or more. The price is depends on the flavours you want. I think the price is fair enough with the taste.

   Actually not only for mille crepes, They also sell a sushi. Not only sushi, they also sell cake, like Red Velvet. So, if you bored with mille crepes, you can try the cakes. Their red velvet also the best but I still prefer the mille crepes since they have various flavours here.

   If you feel thirsty, do not be worry because in this cafe, they also sell various drinks. If you are coffee addict, you can try their Ice Cappuccino. Ah! If you are also a Tea Addict, you can try their Tea because they have so many flavours. I already tasted their Ice Lychee Tea and I don’t know why but, I am so addicted with that. It feels like the taste is so different from others.

   If you ask me that I will come again or not, I will say that “I really will come there again because First Love is the best place and the best cake in Semarang and you MUST try it!”
